Cove Stone I
I discovered this amazing cresecent shaped carving inside the Cove, as such this spirit is celebrated at the very heart of Avebury. The moon spirit was therefore of profound religious importance.

Stone 7 - Avebury Henge, South-West Quadrant
Martin Ringer sees this monolith as "a very classic lunar image, the reversed D of the second half-moon" (p314).

Stone 36A - West Kennet Avenue
A haunting "man in the moon" face gazing up into the southern sky.
