| This animal dual symbol has a pointed face looking horizontally westwards, and an animal (sheep??) looking up diagonally to the eastern sky (see the diagram immediately below). There are many such dual symbols that I have discovered at Avebury, you can see others here. I have also noticed a similar sheeps face on Stone 7, visible here. |
| There is an additional sheep carving on this elevation. I did not discover this animal face myself but I cannot remember where I read about it. This face is shown in yellow on the diagram below: |
