Large Right-Facing Head, Stone 26a, West Kennet Avenue - (February 2023)

The photograph below has been colour saturated to show quite clearly the different facets of this stone, blue, yellow and white. These, together with the clear pecking in the central shadows, unambiguously demonstrates that this head is a deliberate artwork, not an accident of nature. The larger version of this image here clearly show the face's eye just inside the right profile.
